About

Lee Anthony Fabric…a fabric store that “thinks outside the fat quarter!”

Lee Anthony Fabric, Fragiles & Furniture is a diverse shop offering a wide variety of quilting fabric, notions, patterns & books as well as unique glassware and vintage furniture.  Located in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, Lee Anthony provides quilting, sewing and basket making classes in a relaxed atmosphere so you can take your time and receive help with ideas for new projects.

Lee Anthony opened quietly on May 3, 2008 in St. Johnsbury, VT and moved to its present location in Lyndonville, VT in October, 2008.   Johny, my husband, is operations manager and listens carefully to each customer.  As a result, we added a wide range of fleece, wildlife panel prints, and flannel in addition to the fabrics from Marcus Brothers, RJR, P&B, Timeless Treasures, Henry Glass, Robert Kaufman and others.

In case you are wondering who “Lee Anthony” is…the name is a combination of my middle name “Lee” and my husband’s “Anthony”.  You would be surprised how many people ask to see the owner “Lee Anthony”!

What makes Lee Anthony Fabric unique among fabric shops? Technology has come to the quilt shop…with our large screen tv and internet, you can shop from our distributors from over 80,000 notions and fabrics, create a “wish list” and order through Lee Anthony Fabric.  If you are a business or school and need a special order of oil cloth, fleece, muslin or other fabric, we will find it for you and even deliver it within Vermont.  Your creativity is limited only by your imagination!

Family, Friends & Community…what does it mean?

These days a family owned business needs input from everyone and they have to give back.  It is no longer possible to sit on the sidelines and hope people come to the store.  Stores must be pro-active in order for people to shop local. Check out The 3/50 Project on line for good information about shopping local.

Lee Anthony Fabric actively helps local charities…Kiwanas, Caledonia Fair Association, Northeast Kingdom Youth Services, Kingdom Animal Shelter, Riverside School and many others.  We stepped “outside the fat quarter” this year and sponsored the Family, Friends & Community Quilt Show giving many quilters an opportunity to display the fine work they do for their family and friends.

The store offers a great place to poke around when the spirit moves you…always changing inventory, arrangements, music.  Here are some of the latest pictures of the inside of the store…the classroom is still under construction, but getting there!
